The short version: Accrue doesn't collect your data, because Accrue doesn't have a server. Everything you log — every skill, every session, every note — is stored only on your device. We never see it, sell it, or send it anywhere.

What Accrue stores

Accrue keeps all app data — your skills, practice sessions, notes, metric values, achievements, and settings — in a local, on-device database. This data is never transmitted to Accrue, its developer, or any third party. There is no account to create and no server to sync with.

Apple Health

If you choose to connect Apple Health, Accrue requests read-only access to your workouts so their duration can count toward a skill's practice hours. Accrue never writes to Health, and the workout data it reads is used only on-device to calculate your hours — it is not stored anywhere outside the app and is never transmitted off your device.

Analytics and tracking

Accrue contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we have no mechanism to do so even if we wanted to.

Data sharing

Because Accrue has no server and collects nothing, there is nothing for us to share. We do not sell, rent, or transfer any user data, for the simple reason that we never receive any.

Your data, your device

You can export your data (CSV, JSON, or PDF) at any time from Accrue's settings, and you can delete the app — and everything in it — whenever you like. There is no account to close and no remote copy to request deletion of, because no remote copy exists.

Children's privacy

Since Accrue collects no personal data from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of Accrue adds an optional account or sync feature — we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above before that feature ships.
